Event Details

If you are a clinician, you most likely engage with individuals and groups who are possible survivors of all sorts of trauma. By now, you are an expert at helping your clients to struggle better (or cope), and for them to experience resilience. But, imagine that you can be a part of facilitating a possible transformation – of reconstructing the narrative and supporting clients beyond coping and resilience. Post-traumatic growth (PTG) represents positive psychological change occurring in some who suffered trauma. In this one day workshop, you will gain an understanding of the brain-mind dyad, the role of mindfulness, the latest research pertaining to PTG, its markers, and insights into clinical interventions you can begin incorporating into your work now to promote clients’ journey to healing and growth. (6 CEUs for social workers)
