Event Details

This is a two-part training:

Thursday March 10 9am-12pm AND Friday March 11 9am-12pm, via Zoom

Details:

As a clinician, you likely engage with individuals and groups who have survived various traumas and formative adverse life circumstances. You have helped your clients to struggle better (or cope), and supported them in experiencing resilience. You can be a part of facilitating a possible transformation – of reconstructing the narrative and supporting clients beyond coping and resilience.

Post-traumatic growth (PTG) represents positive psychological change occurring in some who suffered trauma. In this workshop, participants will gain an understanding of the brain-mind dyad, the role of mindfulness, the latest research pertaining to PTG, its markers, and insights into clinical interventions that can be incorporated into clinical work to promote clients’ journey to healing and growth.

This is a two-part training, scheduled for Thursday March 10, 9am-12pm AND Friday March 11, 9am-12pm, via Zoom.

6 CEs are available for NYS LMHCs, LMSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, LCATs, NYS Licensed Psychologists and NYS Licensed Psychoanalysts upon completion of both days of training
