Oftentimes we think helping kids cope with trauma and stress is about engaging the child in the therapy room and parents are not part of the equation. Many therapists have limited time and options for collaborating and working with parents – and it is not something we are taught.
Dr. Victoria Grinman, dubbed the “Parent Whisperer” for her effectiveness in working with parents, specifically in engaging difficult-to-reach parents, is excited to share the art of engaging parents with compassion and influencing them with integrity and alignment in helping kids live with joy and for their family to experience ease and peace. Participants will gain confidence in their approach with the toughest of cases, leading to an aligned teamwork approach. Dr. Grinman is has been afforded the opportunities to work with some of the most challenging cases, from high-profile families dealing with pressures, to families coping with intergenerational trauma-related dynamics, and everything in between.
“Parents are dealing with various stresses and often feel stuck in their ability to support their child in a way that works. They have “tried it all” and feel they have failed. That is most likely when they come seeking support from you.” – Dr. Grinman
